Hi! Nice to meet you.

This is your invitation into wellness, art, inner spaces, and body-mind practices.

One of the reasons that people choose to train with me is because over the many years I have worked in human movement, I have learned amazing tools for releasing old habits that cause body-mind tensions, in order to gain optimal strength and fluidity for body and mind. I have designed ways to teach and share this information that is accessible and easy for my students. I have a great anatomical understanding which means I give detailed processes to my students to assist their learning in connecting breath, body and alignment based self awareness. I help my students to experience the body in a complete, healthy and joyful way.

I listen to what my students needs are, in each class I teach. Whether that's in private one to one training or a group class of either Barre, Yoga or Dance. I allow my intuition to guide me, and my knowledge to direct me, and I put my years of learning into guiding my students well and into safe and optimal health. I love to help you discover more about your body, and to show you how to improve the way you sense, feel, understand, and experience, your beautiful body’s movements, in the here and now!

I look forward to sharing many transformational processes with you.

I welcome you to join me today in wellness, uplifting body-mind practices, and the rewarding journey into present moment self-awareness. Growth is here!

Namaste, Om Shanti,

Niamh Condron

Thanks for checking in! I hope we meet real soon.

I am a yoga, barre, and pilates teacher, a contemporary dance artist and dance teacher. I am a choreographer, and teach creative dance to children. I write; poetry, prose or musings, almost daily, it's a passion of mine. And I am a super big time nature lover and spend time outside every day, walking through the fields and forests close to my home in Sant Pere de Ribes, Barcelona. I am a mother, and couldn't be prouder of my darling daughter. We are a super team! :) I am an Art lover, I could stare at Joan Miro's art for hours. The more abstract it is, the more I want to study it. And I, along with my dear daughter, sometimes throw paint colours onto a canvas and make our own Miro! Et voila!

Yes, I love to be deep in the forest where it still and silent, only bird song or branches singing, yet I am also a big sandy-beach fan and love the sounds and sights of the waves. Mountains are my safe haven and I melt with joy to hear the hills sing when the wind passes through and around them. I read often, particularly re-reading John steinbeck, or enjoying the the work of Louise Hay, Joe Dispenza and Wayne Dyer. One of my very favourite books, full of insights into the human mind and body is called The Body Keeps the Score, by Bessel van der Kolk, and I throughly recommend it. Read it! :-)

Since 19 years of age yoga supported my work as a professional ballet and contemporary dancer, and over the years I returned to yoga as a meaningful life tool again and again. And again. My body, mind, heart and soul, recognised it deeply and cherished the form. I regularly trained with yoga teachers in Dublin, New York, London, Cardiff, Paris, San Franciso and Los Angeles. I fell upon many wonderful teachers who ignited my interests. My amazingly knowledgeable Yoga teacher trainer was the incredible ex Martha Graham dancer, Los Angeles based,  Annie Carpenter, at YogaWorks Los Angeles, California.

Ballet is my first passion, which, after graduating from my dance programs, brought me to work with choreographers specialising in modern ballet, and later contemporary dance. My most favourite ballet teacher was the late Augusta Moore, bless her beautiful heart. Deep in the heart of my dance career is the meeting, connecting and collaborating with one of the most amazing dance improvisers of all time; Julyen Hamilton, and our working relationship continues till today. Along my journey as a dance artist, I studied somatic practices such as Body Mind Centering and the Alexander Technique for many years, with outstanding teachers, in New York and San Francisco. I have been utterly blessed to have worked with many incredible dance teachers and choreographers who have touched me deeply, and will always have a place in my heart. I continue to work with Julyen Hamilton, a lifelong collaborator and friend, and an inspirational dance pioneer of our time, mastering in dance improvisation for performance.

As a Ballet, then Contemporary Dance artist, I tuned into another aspect of the body in motion, investigating the ability of the human mind to develop a heightened sense of awareness of the breath inside the moving body and how it effects all levels of health and happiness, and through my training, I developed a greater LOVE for yoga as a body work practice than ever before. Teaching yoga, alongside dance, became my on-going passion.Ballet, and being at the barre, are knitted deep into the threads of my being.

Dance, and Improvisation, is the space I will return to until the end of my time. Always in love with dance. Yoga will continue to ground me into that ever present, moment to moment awareness, that today's busy world tirelessly tries to take away. Sometimes I train through strong Vinyasa Flow physical work, sometimes through restful Yin style restorative bodywork, and if feeling sprightly, some invigorating Kundalini yoga. Of course, I have a regular Barre practice; my feet, toes and turn out love this work!

I listen to my body to feel what I need each day, physically, mentally and emotionally. I don't always get it right, but as I tune in to my body, emotions and energy, every day provides a new learning curve and an opportunity for growth. Sometimes it's a one step forwards, three steps backwards situation, but my practice is always there and I always have the willingness to self-reflect, learn and become more whole.
